Hello Parents of 112a,
Welcome to our classroom website. This website was created by myself, Mlle Dotchin. We will use this site on a daily basis in the classroom to practice our different skills, specifically the French language and Math.
This site will also be a useful tool for you to practice French at home with your child. Click the tabs above to see the different videos and resources we use in the classroom. When practicing at home, please only complete 5-10 minutes a night. Allow your child to choose what they would like to share with you/practice. This will allow them to share about their day with enthusiasm, develop ownership of their learning, and also build confidence in their skills and abilities. We will be beginning to work on developing a growth mindset in the classroom - helping students understand that making mistakes/errors are important, as we all learn SO much from the mistakes we make! I ask that you begin/continue to reinforce this concept at home too!

I will continue to communicate and share photos with parents through Class Dojo, as I believe this is an amazing classroom tool and is only accessible to those registered by me.
